GCB Bank customers threaten to quit bank

Customers of GCB Bank in the Greater Accra region have threatened they may be forced to stop doing business with the bank, since 10am today no one in Greater Accra has been able to make withdrawal due to their system break down. What makes its annoying is that they will tell you wait 20mins the system will be back on and it will turn to be 2 hours. As of 2:38pm no one in Legon,Madina,East Legon Gulf house has been able to make withdrawals.

Some of the customers speaking in an interview with NSEMGH said on their plight, complained among other things of the unnecessary delays as well as the inadequate tellers to attend to customers’ needs.

The customers also tell NSEMGH the situation has persisted for all branches in Accra today and 5 customers said they have visited 12 of their branches and its same story. One of the customers ‘son has been admitted at the hospital and he needed money urgently to pay for his son medical treatment.
