On Monday 12/08/2019 about 0200hrs No. 46030 L/ cpl. Andoh Francis of Regional SWAT Bolgatanga an escort on OA bus with registration No. GR 6989 – 14 driven by Kweku Bawuah aged 42 years from Accra to Bolgatanga reported to Kadelso police that on same day about 0210 hrs on getting to a section of the road near Alhassan Akura on the Kintampo – Buipe Highway , five armed men aged between 25 – 30 years believed to be all Fulanis two of whom were wielding SB shot guns flagged down the bus at gun point in an attempt to rob the passengers of their valuables. As a result he shot into them thereby foiling the robbery attempt. On receipt of the information the Kintampo Divisional command rushed to the scene and acting on intelligence arrested suspect Teitey Fulani aged 29 years with a gun shot wound on the right.
