JT is out of jail and she’s not wasting any of her free time.
The hip-hop artist and her City Girls bandmate Yung Miami released “First Day Out,” a celebration of her early release.
JT, who spent more than a year locked up for credit card fraud, is glad to be out. And she wasn’t defeated by the experience. “Left prison with a pimple, not a scratch,” she raps on the new track.
JT teased the tune Tuesday on Instagram. “You Bitches Could Neva 10p est #JTFree @qualitycontrolmusic @citygirls,” she captioned the post.
JT began her sentence in June 2018 and was scheduled for release in March 2020. Then, in an interview with 99Jamz last August, Quality Control’s CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas revealed that the incarcerated artist would be home “within the next 90 days.”
Pee’s voice can be heard at the top of the track in conversation with JT.
