Kanye Westhas officially reached full Yeezus metamorphosis!
We should have seen it coming, but for those who didn’t, ‘Ye and friends have been praising and worshiping together every Sunday.
The “Heard ‘Em Say” rapper and his wife, have been welcoming friends and family to their home, which is packed with worshipers who get down with the gospel according to Yeezy.
While there are few details about the new church services the Wests have been hosting, we do have a few tidbits thanks to the first lady of the “church,” who has been sharing some videos and photos of the star-studded Sunday worship.

We all knew that Kanye was on spiritual journey after he started holding weekly Sunday Service jam sessions, but we had no idea just how serious he is about his renewed religious awakening. In fact, over the weekend, he revealed his conversion to Christianity became real this year.
While visiting Howard University in Washington D.C. for a pop-up service, the “Jesus Walks” rapper he shared his beliefs.
“If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, then you know the gospel… it’s simple. Christians we be making it too hard for people to come and be involved in this.”
A video obtain by TMZ, showed the rapper speaking to an audience who were there to attend a listening party for his highly anticipated new album, Jesus Is King—which will be accompanied by a film, set to hit IMAX theaters Oct. 25.
“I’m not here for your entertainment. We’re here to spread the gospel,” he said to applause, in a video.
‘Ye was all smiles as he joked about his favorite version of the Bible, which is King James because it says “ye” throughout.
“Excuse me if I mispronounce anything,” he told listeners while reading a few Bible verses. “I’m a recent convert that means I recently got saved this year.”
This goes the same for his children who were baptized over the weekend at one of the oldest churches in the world in his wife’s family’s homeland, Armenia.
Reportedly, Placerita Bible Church‘s Senior Pastor Adam Tyson, has been leading the rapper/producer in bible study for months now.
“Kanye started visiting our church back in mid-May,” Tyson told Fox News. “He asked me to help him to learn more about God from the Bible so, I started a Bible study with him and others in Calabasas in August.”
In a song played at the listening party, a song titled, “Closed on Sunday,” Ye sings, “You my Chick-fil-A… follow Jesus.”

Per usual, Kanye West’s latest Sunday Services came with a surprise–or two, or three! This Sunday, ‘Ye brought his praise and worship session to the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica Queens along with his 150-voice choir, his nine-man band and his family in tow. And, of course, there weas plenty of star power in attendance. Swizz Beatz and Rick Fox posed with Kanye after the service, and TMZ reporting that Akon and Alexander Wang were also in attendance.
While we all wait in anticipation for the release of his Jesus Is King album, Kanye broke out into an impromtu freestyle before announcing that he’ll no longer be releasing secular music. In his freestyle, Kanye shouts out Akon, Swizz Beatz, Alexander Wang and his wifey, Kim Kardashian West, who was sitting front row with their two eldest children, Saint and North West.
