This morning Members of the Ghana Union of Traders Association closed shops owned by Nigerians in Circle, Accra in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana.
According to traders who spoke to NSEMGH.COM,said the traders closed the shops owned by Nigerians as part of a continuing operation against foreigners engaging in retail business in the country.
GUTA said the activities of the Nigerian traders and other foreign retailers flouted section 27 of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Act 865.
The Ghana Union of Traders Association has also responded to a press conference organised by the Nigeria Union of Traders Association Ghana.
