Former Senegal and Liverpool star, El Hadji Diouf has landed in Ghana ahead of ex- Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan’s book launch which will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
The 41 year old is a legend in the African game having won the African footballer of the year award in 2001 and 2002- the same year he also won the BBC African footballer of the year.
The former Liverpool winger is part of the Senegal squad that made it into the quarter final of the 2002 World Cup and also the AFCON final where they lost to Cameroon in Mali.
Asamoah Gyan has had a very long, touching and admirable journey in his football career. However, there are some part that are untold and he is ready to reveal all those hidden facts about him.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra. The program will commence at 1800GMT but red carpet will be an hour prior, where Asamoah Gyan’s goals, trophies and individual accolades will be displayed in a documentary form.
