Paris Hilton shocked fans Tuesday when she revealed that she secretly welcomed a child, a baby boy, with her husband Carter Reum via surrogate.
The socialite, 41, made the announcement via Instagram, which included a photo of the new mom clutching onto her infant’s hand.
‘You are already loved beyond words,’ wrote Hilton, followed by a blue heart emoji.
Hilton’s close pal Kim Kardashian quickly took to the comment section to react to the Simple Life star’s surprise baby news, writing: ‘So happy for you guys!!! [HEART EMOJI]’

Hilton previously revealed that it was Kim who introduced her to her fertility doctor, who is Beverly Hills IVF ‘magician’ Dr. Andy Huang, according to Vogue.
Kim is all too familiar with the IVF process and surrogacy being that it’s how she welcomed three of her four children with Kanye West.
In a statement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Hilton spoke about finally starting a family with husband as well as the love they share for their son.
‘It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,’ it read.
‘We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.’
She did not reveal further details about the birth.
Though this is Hilton’s first child, Reum, 40, already shares a 10-year-old daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi, who he has allegedly seen ‘only once.’
Along with Kardashian, the likes of Chrissy Teigen publicly congratulated Hilton.
Teigen, who recently gave birth to her third child with musician John Legend, wrote: ‘a BABY!!!!!! congratulations so happy for you both!!’
Victoria’s Secret models Lily Aldridge, Jasmine Tookes and Sara Sampaio all wrote ‘congratulations’ to the new mom.

Last month, Hilton shared that she started in vitro fertilization (IVF) back in mid-2020 before Reum ever proposed.
She was recently forced to clarify the status of their IVF journey after her mother Kathy Hilton claimed the pair were struggling to conceive.
‘I have tons of embryos that are waiting, we’ve been stocking up on a lot of them,’ Hilton fired back after she was asked about her mother’s remark by TMZ.
In early 2022, Hilton told E! News that she wanted ‘two or three’ kids with the millionaire entrepreneur and even had a desire for twins.

Hilton said at the time that she and Reum were ‘planning our babies names and all of that,’ adding: ‘Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time…that it wasn’t that bad.’

‘[Kim] was the one who told me about that. I didn’t even know anything about it. I’m happy that she told me that advice and introduced me to her doctor,’ she said.
