Ghanaian actress and socialite, Rosemond Alade Brown, a.k.a Akuapem Poloo, has apologized to her fans for misleading them in so many ways.
The actress says her social media lifestyle has had a bad influence on the majority of Ghanaian youth who looked up to her as a role model. The actress who is also known for displaying her birthday gifts on social media did the opposite this year on her birthday.
Speaking on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning Show, Akuapem Poloo disclosed that her ignorance led her to live an extravagant lifestyle on social media but has realized her attitude has had a bad impact on the youth, especially her fans.
“People even buy cars for themselves and say that someone has dashed them. It’s crazy, and now the youth are being misled. I’ve regretted it, and if I have ever misled any youth, they should just forgive me.” She apologized.
She also disclosed the majority of Ghanaian celebrities live rich lifestyles to please people on social media but earn less than what they are portraying.
