Ghanaian Gospel musician, Empress Gifty has expressed worry over the lack of investments in the Ghanaian music industry when it comes to the gospel sector.
According to Empress Gifty, there are no record labels in Ghana that are ready to take sole responsibility for artists signed under their care and as a result of this musicians especially gospel artists are finding it difficult to find their feet in the music game.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z Empress Gifty said;
“We don’t have record labels in Ghana.”
“Do we have them?” She asked.
“They are all doing their own thing. So we get so stressed because we are doing something and it everything is coming out of our pocket.”
“It is very dangerous and frustrating.” She stressed.
“My wish is that a year from now we will get investors to put their money and connection.”
