Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur has given his fans a clue of what his experience his when it comes to his christian life.
According to Kwesi Arthur, he grew up in a Christian home and that has influenced his life positively.
“I was raised in a church. My mother gave me the name Emmanuel, which is Greek for ‘God is with us’. I was raised in a church, so In a church, I was created. My two uncles also work as preachers. A preacher is a cousin of mine.” He narrated.
“My grandma took an active part in her church. Every weekend we would go and set up my uncle’s church back when he was just starting out. We sometimes play music and do other things. I believe that my involvement with the church dates back to my early years. Therefore, I am unable to escape it.” He said.
Continuing with his narration he said; “I have always had that Christian influence, sure. I went to a mission school as well, and that was SDA, and I was kind of highly engaged, and I was in a choir as well. It was something I was powerless to escape.”
