Team Gyan after the Western Regional tour, followed it up with a colorful float in the Central Regional capital of Cape Coast.
Commencing from the front gate of Mfantsipim Boys School, Team Gyan took the float through some major streets as well as market areas.
The torch was presented to Mr. Daniel Agyare, the Regional Director for the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, who stood in for the Regional Minister.
Mr. Agyare welcomed Gyan and the team, and on behalf of the Regional Minister and the Region, pledged their support for the project and assured they would do everything needed to ensure this novelty becomes a success and see to it that their Region sweeps all medals at the sports festival in November.
Curtains on the float were brought down with a radiant interview in the studios of Kastle FM.
The torch relay,has so far visited ten (11) regions with the other five (5) regions in the offing before the main launch, which is scheduled for Kumasi on Saturday, 6th July 2024.
