Kamala Harris’s campaign is reportedly aiming to wrap up the Democratic presidential nomination by Wednesday evening.
She needs the support of a simple majority – or 1,969 of the 3,936 Democratic delegates – to secure the nomination at the August party convention.
About a quarter have said they will back her so far, based on public announcements.
Reuters said its information on completion was based on “four sources with direct knowledge of the matter”.
