Erik ten Hag has been sacked with immediate effect by Manchester United, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed.
Erik ten Hag has officially left his position as Manchester United’s men’s first-team manager.
Appointed in April 2022, Ten Hag led the club to success, securing two domestic trophies: the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.
In a statement, the club expressed gratitude for Ten Hag’s contributions during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavors.
In the interim, former United star Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the team, supported by the current coaching staff.
