The Supreme Court has dismissed an application by the Speaker of Parliament in the case regarding the four vacant seats in parliament.
The Chief Justice , Gertrude Torkornoo, who led a 5 member panel of the court, read that the apex court has jurisdiction over such matters, contrary to contrary suggestions and opinions.
She fuethe4 asserted that anyone who foes not hid to the order of the Supreme Court has committed a crime.
