The flagbearer of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Bawumia has conceded defeat in the 2024 General election.
Dr Bawumia, who campaigned vigorously in the lead up. to the election stood a good chance to winning the election but per the numbers trickling in, the picture is not good for the NPP.
Addressing the media at his residence, he revealed that, he had called the president elect, John Dramani Mahama to congratulate him for winning the election.
He pledged his support for the transition exercise and also called on all NPP supporters to remain calm and assured that, the NPP will regroup and come back stronger.
President elect John Mahama, has also revealed that, Dr Bawumia has called to congratulate him for his victory at the poll.
