The New Patriotic Party’s National Women’s Organiser, Ms Kate Gyamfua, has retained her position at the party’s just-ended national delegates conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
She polled 620 votes (93.78%) to beat her other contenders, Ellen Ama Daaku and Hajia Sawudata, who had 9 and 32 votes, respectively.
Also, the party’s National Youth Organiser, Mr Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) won the National Organiser position.
He beat five other contenders: Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, Eric Amoako Twum, Bright Essilfie-Kumi, Seth Adu-Adjie and Nana Owusu Fordjuour.
Additionally, the Deputy Director of Operations at the office of the Vice-President, Mr Salam Mohammed Mustapha (SM), won the National Youth Organiser slot.
The former Deputy National Youth Organiser had 255 votes.
The other contenders are Abanga Fuseini Yakubu, 153 votes; Prince Kamal Guma, 101; and Mr Michael Osei Boateng, 120 votes.
