Headcoach of the Black Stars, Akwasi Appiah has released the list of players billed to represent Ghana at the 2019 Cup of Nations championship to be staged in Egypt in June this year.
The list has three locals, three U23 players and some of the old guards.
After the unfortunate incident of captain Asamoah Gyan prematurely announcing his retirement from the national team, it is believed the helmsman had his job cut out for him as news was rife that, he was torn between including his reliable frontman or excluding him.
The 29-man-squad are scheduled to move base to Dubai for a 3-week camping in early June, where the team will be pruned to 23 players.
The tournament which will commence on 21st June, will see Ghana pit her strength against defending champions Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau and Benin in Group F.
