The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested some persons believed to be part of a notorious car snatching syndicate.
The syndicate which operated in Accra, usually attacked their victims with guns and knives.
The eight are currently in police custody waiting to be arraigned.
Some of the suspects whose identities have been confirmed are Emmanuel Amaning, 20 and Frank Atta Kwame Agyekum, 22.
The Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Fredrick Adu Anim who spoke to Citi News noted that one suspect is still at large.
The suspects are: “suspect Emmanuel Amaning, 20, an unemployed from New Abrim in the Eastern Region, also suspect Frank Ata Kwame Agyekum, 22, from Kwaku Obo also in the Eastern Region. The two reside at Agbogbloshie in Accra.”
