Having Beyonce do songs with some of West Africa’s music giants like; Ghana’s Shatta Wale and Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, among others for her ‘The Gift’ album was a big deal for Africans and one of these song that gained quite a huge attention and popularity not only in Africa but in the diaspora as well was that with Nigeria’s Wizkid, titled ‘Brown Skin Girl’ due to the message the song sends across.
According to a British tabloid, the 38-years-old American star and the Nigerian singer, have started shooting a video for the song and have called on black and brown people of different cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, genders and ages to appear in the video and tell their stories tothe rest of the world.
The video is presently being shot in a number of locations across London.
The video which is being directed by a Nigerian, Jenn Nkiru, born in Peckham, England, will be shot in a number of locations across London.
This will not be Nkiru’s first time working with Beyonce, as he already worked with her and her husband, JayZ when he directed their smash hit single, ‘Apesh*t in 2018.
