H.E Samira Bawumia, the second lady today 13 November 2019 delivered the opening remarks at the cooking for climate: scaling up clean cooking for climate,health and development” session at UNFCCC COP25 in Madrid,Spain.
The event was organised by the WHO,World Bank,UNDESA,UNDP, Clean Cooking Alliance,HIVOS,and ENERGIA.
She was also a panelist for the cop 25 clean cooking facebook live interview hosted by the world bank.
Clean cooking should be front and centre in all health and development issues. ensuring access to affordable,reliable,sustainable and modern energy foal all is essential to achieving healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
