But it’s Terrence Howard’s insights into the meaning of life that he shared on the red carpet at Sunday’s Emmys that has everyone talking.
The actor, 50, regaled reporters from Los Angeles local TV station KTLA with his ‘personal discoveries’ involving ‘the science that Pythagoras was searching for’ and ‘the flower of life’.

Howard dismissed his on screen career this way: ‘I’ve spent 37 years pretending to be people so that people can pretend to watch and enjoy what I’m doing.’
He said more meaningful have been his forays into understanding the world around him, launching into a baffling list of his achievements.
‘I was able to open up the flower of life and find the real wave conjugations that we’ve been looking for, for 10,000 years,’ Howard explained in his live TV interview.
‘Why would I continue walking on water for tips when I’ve got an entire generation to teach a whole new world?’ he mused.

Prepared to share: Howard also said he plans to post a video on YouTube ‘where I will build the planet Saturn without gravity — and build the Milky Way Galaxy without gravity’
Howard went on: ‘All energy in the universe is expressed in motion, all motion is expressed in waves, all waves are curved, so where does the straight lines come from to make the platonic solids?’
‘There are no straight lines. So, when I took the flower of life and opened it properly, I found a whole new world of wave conjugations that expose the in-between spaces that…it’s the thing that holds us all together.’
When one of the two reporters tried to change the subject to getting a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Tuesday, Howard declared that at the ceremony he would ‘prove that gravity is only an effect, not a force.’
Helpfully, he said he also plans to post a video on YouTube ‘where I will build the planet Saturn without gravity — and build the Milky Way Galaxy without gravity.’
Howard concluded the interview by pointing out how bizarre it is that he’s getting a Hollywood Star but has not won an Emmy.
