The venomous back-and-forth between Shaquille O’Neal and Damian Lillard continued Monday (Oct. 7) with Shaq Diesel firing off a second diss track taking aim at Dame. “Second Round Freestyle” finds the Lakers legend sending another barrage of shots in Lillard’s direction over Diddy’s classic “Victory.”
The Big Aristotle wastes no time in reminding Dame of his four championship rings, while interpolating the same flow Puff Daddy employed on the No Way Out cut’s opening verse. “All my statues and retired jerseys, I’mma live forever/ Better now or never/ Kill Damian, my pleasure/ You see him losing every year, nobody do it better,” he raps.
Shaq admits he got a little chuckle out of Dame implying Kobe carried him to those titles but makes sure to bring up the three Finals MVPs he won during that time. “That little Kobe comment you said had me grinning/ Three times MVP, Dame, at least I’m winning/ First of all, little boy, you see this ain’t beef, you just a [expletive] talking while I’m hitting, call it a queef,” Dr. O’Neal quips.
The 47-year-old crushes Lillard’s wardrobe and goes on to say he could have him traded out of Portland with just a quick phone call. “And you shoot too much/ Dudes on your team probably hate it/ Keep talking, make a phone call and get you traded/ You probably chose zero because you thought it was hot/ You ain’t hard because in real life, you dress like a thot,” Shaq rhymes.
The Trail Blazers star last responded to O’Neal with the scathing “Reign Reign Go Away” on Friday. Does Lillard have time for one more before the NBA season starts?
