The President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has warned the President of Ghana of an impending mass resignation from his government.
This comes after some members of the Majority in Parliament openly called on the President to sack Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta or risk a boycott of government business in Parliament.
The Parliamentarians are of the belief that sacking Ken Ofori Atta and the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry Charles Adu-Boahene will restore hope in the economy.
Reacting to the position expressed by the Majority in Parliament, Franklyn Cudjoe indicated that it’s possible the West African country may see resignations in Cabinet in the coming days and that will not augur well for the President.
He said, “Open rebellion from his own MPs! The President risks Cabinet resignations. He must beware”.
