The torch relay of the All Regional Games 2024 got to Wa, the Upper West Regional capital to a resounding welcome by a charged crowd at the Regional Coordinating Council (R.C.C).
After meeting with the Regional Coordinating Director, Hon. Stephen Yakubu, who stood in for the Regional Minister, Team Gyan walked the flamed torch through some principal streets of Wa.
With the Police ensuring orderliness, Gyan held the torch, walking with it while responding to cheers from by-standers and admirers.
The relay had a solid display by the presence of a brass band,.and a sound system on a truck which was followed by a crowd of dancers giving the whole activity a colourful cynosure.
